Jane, the
current intern of LBI, left the impressive message to the world almost 3 years ago. This is the true voice from girls in slum of Kenya. Jane was from slum and her life situation was devastating.
Her father had passed away when she was at the age of five. Everyday seemed to be an endless routine of hopeless. She had to live with maximum of just 200KES (USD 2), taking care of her mother
and sister. She
said crying, "What is your hope to earn?" Even after she passed the examination with outstanding performance, she could not afford to pay the school fees. Fortunately, Miss Koch Project sponsored
for her to a high school education.
After Miss Koch, LBI is sponsoring her for university education now. She has already passed the KCSE with the highest marks in her high school. It is a big success story from slum LBI is really
proud of her.
