World Education Forum 2015, a successful road map to reach SDG, just kicked off. The first day is 2015 NGO Forum.
The objective of the 2015 NGO Forum are to
1. Agree on a collective vision on the post-2015 education agenda and Framework for Action and strategize on effective engagement in the WEF2015.
2. Share knowledge and analysis regarding the current proposals on the post-2015 sustainable development agenda and agree on how to support the finalisation of the post-2015 sustainable
development agenda.
3. Forge commitments and agree on strategies for civil society participation in the implementation and monitoring of the post-2015 education agenda.
Threats
1. Entrenched positions (governments, partners)
2. Lack of mandate
3. Limited speaking slots given to civil society
Discussion was very tough but I enjoy it with brilliant leaders from the world.
